With the weather sunny, the dry high traction astro surface at the Urban PlaySpace Raceway in downtown Singapore proved a challenge to the racers to master.
In the 2WD Buggy Class, Esmail Apandi (XRAY) took TQ honours by taking Rounds 1 & 2 of the 3 rounds of qualifying. It was the same story in the finals, with Esmail securing an early overall win by taking Legs 1 and 2 of the A-Main. Dennis Chiang (XRAY), who started 4th on the grid, secured the win in Leg 3 to finish 2nd, while Kamen Koh took the final podium spot in 3rd.

In the 4WD Buggy Class, XRAYâ™s Dennis Chiang secured overall TQ after taking Q1 and Q2. Esmail Apandi secured 2nd overall with a TQ run in the final qualifying round. In the finals, Esmail made it 2 for 2 on the day with the overall win after coming in first in both Legs 1 and 2 of the A-Main. Pole position sitter Dennis settled for 2nd, while Kamen Koh finished 3rd.
